The only 'systemic' risk is to venture capital, which the US govt cares a lot about. VC money is why the US has been able to win the past 20 yrs, you realise that? Who funded Google, MSFT, Meta and so on..

win at what? 98% of Americans aren't going to care if a meteor drops on SV tomorrow. The day FAANG is done I'm throwing a party. I wish that incestuous industry would finally kick the bucket, 95% of American programmers don't even work there.
Do you seriously think anyone's shredding a tear if Zucc's net worth drops to zero and that privacy nightmare of a company is gone? Don't threaten me with a good time
American venture capital and by extension US power (because the expectation is this is re-invested) means that it has to be allowed to happen whether you and I like it or not.
This is the entire game if you zoom out.
Exit -> Recycle some of the money so USA stays ahead. That is the entire game, you see it right...? I hope you do.
That only works long-term if the companies produce real value. Historically speaking, the venture cycle had a lot of failures (and they were allowed to fail) and a few successes, but those success were real and created value internationally.
Spacex is transparently a scam to steal from people's retirement accounts. Normally, that would be a thing that wouldn't be encouraged by regulators, and our president wouldn't have participated in the scam. Times are not normal.
