Well you need to invent a new proxy: the shorter the content the higher the value.
Its not rocket science fella... the irony is this is the heuristic that should've always existed.
I have a pre-determined length Im willing to read, if someone can 't boil it down to meet my max length, I wont read it - it goes in the trash. Job done and not my problem.
I run a firm and this is a rule - if you don't adhere you get fired.
But someone can just prove whether its possible to 10x no?
Put out completed projects w.r.t products people are familiar with. E.g. show me that you can put out a scalable clone of IG...? Why don't these examples exist?
Like come on, I would LOVE to see that! The average person doesn't care about pet projects. Show something people are familiar with, and use on a regularly basis, that can be produced in a fraction of the resources.
Prep the community for what. Every human can make decisions and choices without care for another already.
They are perfectly happy with their choice. They already chose to ignore the papers and that's fine.
What is objectively true is by definition true. What one considers to be true is not necessarily objectively true.
You can chose to live under the "romantic" mathematics era if you so wish for it, we are temporary and our direct influence is at most a few generations. To force the future or that choice to anyone else, I'm sorry, but I rather be delusional than accept that (though obviously untrue). It isn't a choice up to you, at most you provide a path, but you have very little choice over what the future dictates.
We underestimate how much can change in 10 years, is all I can say. Maybe it’s fantasy land, I guess I am just currently living in a fantasy land because that’s my primary use case and it’s pretty effective now.
That could change but it could also get better. Meta announced today that shopping is the top use case for Muse, for items over $200 (more than anticipated). There is a ton of money for retailers who can make their numbers just by being a great agent experience. This honestly could become the primary UX to buy things online, just because current margins require user hostile behavior doesn’t mean they always will.
Have some optimism, it helps activate and create a better future rather than ceding it to the megacorps.
