Enlivex's concurrent RAIN token acquisition and share repurchase program represents one of the more direct examples to date regarding convergence between biotechnology and crypto treasury types. Enlivex is betting that its immunotherapy development pipeline, along with its ownership interest in decentralized prediction markets, will produce long-term value. Keep an eye on it.
"If we never figure out how to make computers creative, then there will be a very natural division of labor between man and machine."
Even if AI can't reach (yet) the creativity level, it performs well while trying, at least for now. Who knows in the near future? So far, the roadmap is clear.
The AI push is causing major layoffs in the tech and crypto industries nowadays. But we have been receiving the message "adapt or pay the consequences." Right now, even management positions are being replaced by software. It could sound rude, but it's also part of human nature and evolution. We have created these machines, and now we have to deal with them.
On the other hand, it could be rare at these stages, but we (regular human beings) barely know how the brain really works. And AI has demonstrated, at some point, that it can work very well in some roles (mostly operational, ofc), but it's also turning indispensable. Even governments like the Abu Dhabi one are pushing to rule the emirate fully by AI.
So yeah, even if we don't like it, AI is silently replacing humans. The best you can do is to learn how to leverage and not be left behind.
Multiverse Computing’s API Portal enables the democratization of access to production-ready compressed AI models, allowing faster, cheaper, and more private edge deployments while challenging the current dominance of cloud-based Large Language Models (LLMs).
What a topic!
I think corruption not only happens as a consequence of authority abuse, regimes, or anything like it, but it's in human nature. It doesn't matter how compliant a society is in terms of order, trust, good manners, etc., there will always be someone unhappy with it, even if it's part of a 0,0001%. Most of the time, corruption is not seen as a bad practice but instead as a regular one. Sometimes even small "favors" are perceived just like that, a regular practice that everyone is aware of, but so unavoidable and unfavored to denounce it.
Sadly, corruption runs through our veins (generically speaking) and won't go away just because a clearer system is imposed.
Its all about power, control, and superiority. =(
I've read about this recently while doing some research. I see how LLMs can read contracts (in the blockchain-related space, at least) and go find vulnerabilities to hack the system. Is crazy how this tech can be used for both good and bad activities.
Is a threat to everyone on earth. Palantir is the real Skynet. They are developing everything they can to control and surveil the population at all levels. And the founder is evil, and he knows it.
US-Israeli cybersecurity-AI-related infrastructure is crazy but not good for the world.
Well, as a sci-fi fan, I can say that there are not many good stories around, those that when you read the first pages, you know it'll be a fantastic trip. I think that sometimes authors try to make it so complex, along with the narrative and way or writting.
Having said that, I believe people don't really look for, maybe, hidden gems from other countries or languages.
Don't lose hope, there are many authors that still have that touch that makes you feel you are in some other world or dimension.
This week I started to watch Apple TV's series "Metabot". I'm giving it a try, and it's ok by now. I wasn't able to find something similar to The Three-Body Problem, The Expanse,or Battlestar Galactica so far.
We could see that Iran is all-in at this point. IF this gets to happen, it won't be free or without hard consequences, I believe. There's so much to lose for everybody in this war. The bully Trump should take another approach, or none at all, and retire while possible.
People say that Trump should TACO but at this point it's basically lighting the Gulf States' relationship with the US on fire. At a minimum, they will have to massively hike their own defense expenditures and likely reorient money earmarked for investments in the US to do that.
