Such a tool is very helpful for editors who manage video footage, and since 12K cameras are affordable now, I'd guess 12K actually refers to the resolution here.
Is that how you want your employer to behave? You want them to surveil you all day every day in case you are doing something that is counter to their business?
They're employees just like you and me, complaining that they work for you then refusing to allow the same rule to be applied to yourself by your employer is....
No. The difference is you thinking that you, as the employer, have the right to surveil people, but then claim that you, as an employee, have the right to be free from such horrific conditions.
...normal and internally consistent because we do different jobs in different contexts and the impacts of oversight have a different cost/benefit analysis, do you think doctors should have the same oversight as your food delivery guy?
No. Hypocrisy is when you refuse to have the same rules applied to yourself.
The claim was that they worked for you therefore they should be subject to constant surveillance. Submit to the same from your employer to prove that that is a reasonable expectation.
No - it's hypocrisy for anyone to demand one set of rules for others whilst demanding that those same rules do not apply to themselves.
People in politics, as I said from the beginning, are still people. We can demand transparency in the decisions made (there are limits, because some of that information is sensitive - eg. National security, or commercial secrecy) but we cannot demand that people are surveiled every minute of their lives whilst at the same time complaining that it's a bad thing to happen to us.

Well, those in power should be held to a higher standard in various ways, and it is tricky. Someone who works on a pharma regulatory board who then the next year gets a gloriously-salaried job at Pfizer should probably not have been able to do that, even though for most people a job at Pfizer would be fine.
A. Why define the goal after identifying the solution? Or does define the goal mean identify a stopping point for step 4, in which case you must first define the solution?
B. Isn't the goal explicit in a clear problem definition?
1) Ambiguous problem definition with no implied goal: We need more money.
2) Clearer problem definition with implied goal: We need $500K by Monday.
Do you have any evidence of this? The video expose that kicked off this firestorm said that if you don't actively connect to the internet, then the system is largely inert.
Okay. I'll accept the premise that she was principally an autobiographer through film reviews. But when she was, as the author notes, not a kind or good person, why consume her autobiography?
Does one often use this basis for consuming autobiographies? I'd rather think the common cause for reading an autobiography is because it is interesting, or because the person is interesting, or notable to history in some way, and you want more insight into their life and way of thinking. I'm admittedly not much for autobiographies myself, and the only memoir I actively chose to read was Napoleon's, but my choice to read it certainly wasn't because I thought he was a kind person.
You did not put quote marks (and were not literal in quoting), so we may interpret that you would not accept advice from non kind people (what?!).
Besides the basic logic that it should be advice from people with good judgement that one should accept, what should instead be revealing and a red alert is
> her enthusiasm for Jean-Luc Godard’s lesser works
Was it that a big, giant, horrible wasteland because it was undeveloped? That is, was there something bad about it other than being undeveloped? Personally, I love living in the city AND land in its natural state.
I think the best intro to LA is Cadillac Desert by Marc Reisner (it's really about the entire West and its relationship to water, but I think the first few chapters explain LA better than many other books.)
Could this post been equally effective without the history literacy since the early middle age? I recognize the irony of complaining about this post's length.
