>managing pricing on my Airbnbs

so, scamming your customers?

madaxe_again · 2026-10-14T10:33:20

By moving my prices downwards dynamically so I appear higher in the search rankings, and therefore have a fuller calendar?

If that’s a scam, sure.

anthonyrstevens · 2026-10-12T16:08:34

This assumes the worst of the OP and is absolutely a very poor comment. Do better.

Natfan · 2026-10-12T23:41:19

OP hasn't earned any reason for me to trust that they're not using algorithmic price gouging to further their rent-seeking behavior at the cost of both their direct customers and the community at large.

also, maybe consider branching out from just "do better"[0] and give reasons as to _why_ this might be a neo-feudalism is a good thing. just calling my comment "poor" won't do anything to change my position on this.

> algorithmic price gouging

They haven’t given you any reason to believe they are colluding illegally. In fact their use of the LLM suggests that they are not. You’re connecting this to known bad behavior of others based on no evidence.

dvfjsdhgfv · 2026-10-13T15:12:59

> illegally.

I haven't found anything in parent's post about illegality, only low ethics. These two are often confused which is a pity.

time wise, how long does it take to strange someone vs shooting them in the head? which one is a more time sensitive issue?

NetMageSCW · 2026-10-07T23:32:10

Depends on if you are hunting with them in the woods or not.

Natfan · 2026-10-07T11:37:06

just completely and utterly incorrect
