Bruce Schneier's Crypto-Gram: https://www.schneier.com/crypto-gram/

It's probably decently-known with the Hacker News crowd, but I've met few others in the various places that I've worked who have even heard about it, let alone Bruce Schneier himself. It's a great way to learn about new attack vectors and developments in secure computing

I use Sublime as my code editor. Anything that I need to save as a code snippet goes into its own Snippets project. That way, I can organize it easily and open up the project whenever I need it. No separate application necessary since Sublime is already editing my code anyways.

They were actually fired for e-stalking their coworkers. From The Register (https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/12/04/google_exemployees_...):

"The four engineers fired by Google just before Thanksgiving for allegedly e-stalking co-workers have said they will file a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board claiming they were subject to an illegal intimidation campaign.

...

Google said it fired the workers for “data security violations,” saying they electronically stalked colleagues working on technology for US Customs and Border Protection. The company says they tracked fellow Googlers suspected of working those projects and leaked confidential information about their targets."

This is really cool. I would love it if Nette was added to the list of Popular Frameworks on the Getting Started page. But the list of what is available is already impressive. I can't wait to implement this in a project!

#mysql on DALnet has been invaluable in helping me learn how to manage databases. I actually was on DALnet for the last 15 years and stumbled into a number of different rooms to learn various topics. #mysql has been the one that I ended up frequenting the most. Now I ask and answer questions there. Everyone is generally pretty friendly and welcoming (even though some people asking questions are often impatient).

When you announce that you're shilling something, you remove all chance of risk ;) That said, Zulip looks promising. Thanks for sharing.
