The price to value for the Mac Pro kept going down. Mac Studio made more sense.

Who buys music these days? A few people might buy LPs but that eats up storage. Streaming doesn’t do very much for the bottom line.

There was a lot of pseudo porn. I’m not sure exactly what the prompts were to generate them since you couldn hide the original prompts. I’m not sure why they didn’t use grok instead so it leads me to think they were trolling

I feel that your assumption that everyone will want to share is a flawed one.

Renewable energy just has bad marketing. Instead of just emphasizing their environmental benefits, everyone forgot that they’re also a stop gap for any issues with other sources of energy. China gets it. It’s the same reason why EVs are so important: they give us energy source flexibility. An EV can run on anything that creates electricity which includes coal, nuclear, natural gas, oil, in addition to renewables

Also solar and wind are much more often on time and on budget.

Everyone should look at what's happening in Australia. Australia has 50% more solar per capita than China and utterly dwarfs the USA and Europe on a per capita basis. Because of this Australians have consistently falling power prices.

Think about that. Falling power prices during high inflation with an energy crisis at a time when datacenters are being built out everywhere. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-19/power-prices-fall-but...

You'll note on that link in 1 year prices have gone from $87 to $50. Pretty much all attributable to the massive grid connected battery installations and renewable rollouts which had minimal subsidies. They were merely encouraged by policy which created a shorter time for grid price changes and arbitration allowing high response batteries to drive grid efficiencies. https://elements.visualcapitalist.com/top-20-countries-by-ba...

It's straightforward economics at this point. Want cheaper prices? Demand what Australia has.

Not just falling energy prices. Australians are about to get free electricity for 3 hours a day.

It’s meta this time.

On a related note, this is becoming a more common issue worldwide. Almost every country, even developing ones, are experiencing below replenishment birthrates. Only a few countries are spared in Central Africa, though not sure how long that will last.

IVF is also no longer something that's only for older women. Younger couples from both sexes are starting to need it.

You don't mention the outlier - Israel stands out in the OECD fertility rate race - 2.89 in 2023 (if I'm reading https://www.oecd.org/en/data/indicators/fertility-rates.html correctly) while the next highest is France at 1.91.

A click-bait article I read mentioned that Israel's culture is more child-rearing friendly than others, like the United States, where kid-friendly gathering places are not encouraged.

the article at https://www.taubcenter.org.il/en/research/why-are-there-so-m... mentions several possible reasons for the increased fertility, at least compared to OECD countries - Israel's birth rate is similar to its neighbours, Egypt and Syria, according to the article.

Non-English speaking country? One alternative is the Philippines. Most of the population is able to speak English.

I have the same experience with Antigravity and Gemini CLI, both using Gemini 3 Pro. CLI works on the problem with more effort and time. Meanwhile, antigravity writes shitty python scripts for a few seconds and calls it a day. The agent harness matters a lot

There was a solution for meta though but they failed to pivot. Almost every generation as a whole disliked VR, except for children. Gen Alpha is into VR, but meta failed to market it as their NES or much better Roblox. Instead, meta marketing stayed focused on disinterested adults. Maybe it was because the children were using their parent’s accounts since it’s apparent that meta’s marketing department didn’t touch their VR devices? Otherwise, they’d realize the horizon and every online VR game was filled with kids.
