One of the other comments mentions https://codefloe.com. I haven't tested and haven't yet checked their background, but they seem to allow private repositories.

That sounds good. I'm a bit confused about missing pricing. It says free tier is generous but I can't find any prices.

This should be applied to the whole EU.

Yes, SU was fascinating at the time. I kind of like this style of exploring the web; it gets a bit addictive, you spend hours on it but end up finding interesting content and other stuff that you wouldn't otherwise.

Man, I wasted days on SU. It was incredibly addictive in a way that did not feel unhealthy.

But the 10M that care will spend their money elsewhere. That is already something, for OpenAI and also for the other competitors these people will switch to.

> I like it how everyone says that, but there is no european cloud operator able to offer what AWS/GCP/Azure offer.

You don't need all of that. You can go a long way with the basics, and those are well covered.

Things are really getting ugly there. So sad to witness it happening in “real time.”

I started the same process some time ago. I've made different choices but with the same goal.

I'm moving slowly because this kind of migration is never easy, but I fully intend to move >90% of my stuff to European providers (and 100% of the critical parts).

I'm a bit torn about this. On one hand, I really think viable alternatives to Android/iOS are now more necessary than ever, and I'm eager to explore this OS. On the other hand, I'm not in the mood to buy new hardware (right now) just to try it out.

Nevertheless, I hope they succeed.

Ollama, Continue.dev extension for editor/IDE, and Open-WebUI. My hardware is a bit dated, so I only use this setup for some smaller open models.

On the laptop, I don't use any local models. Not powerful enough.
