I'd rather say Microsoft, with versions 1 through 6.5, learned how not to make a mobile OS. WP7 is a radical departure from the Windows CE kernel. WP7 is to WinMo 6.5 what NT 3.1 was to Windows 3.1.
With a better user interface (NT was as bad as 3.1)
This was a major mistake by the witness in this case, and everyone who has been watching the case already knew about it. Do you know why?
Because it was presented to the jury during the trial.
The jury was told that the number of visits to that site was transposed with the number of visits to myspace. A prosecution witness cleared the record in open trial.
In fact, defense attorney Jose Baez even brought up the fact during closing arguments and used it as a reason to have reasonable doubt of the entire case.
No, it's not (or shouldn't be) news to those of us who watched that part of the trial. But I bet there are a lot of people whose main information sources were cable TV talking heads who may have failed to point out this correction.
Oh, one more thing. My goal with the site is to share the port and be able to pay the bandwidth bills hosting the demos. It's definitely not my day job. :)
Incidentally, I had to explain to my wife why I had to jump on the computer immediately when getting home from work and I never thought I would see the day when I would be chastised by my wife over a GPL violation. :)
The DOSBox folks and the Google engineers working on Native Client are geniuses. By comparison, my C++ skills are only slightly more sophisticated than the monkeys you see throwing poo at the zoo. :)
Take a look at what I hacked together. I had a lot of fun working on it over the last couple of weeks.
