The value of testing comes from not when its created, but months/years down the line where a new feature/bugfix changes something completely unrelated to the initial feature.

Sometimes almost or even completely useless tests are written. Its a cost I can live with.


Clean code is about developer performance - understand stuff fast - not about hardware performance.

Arch Linux. I don't need a fancy UI, I can configure my networking just fine. I also use it as a media player.

Write text, then hit SHIFT+HOME it does not select the text. Tried it in Firefox and Chrome.


I find it normal.

Whenever I re-read a book I look at it in a different light or, better yet, I have a new understanding of the book.

I had issues pushing with an application key that was not being recognized.

Now I don't know if this was directly related, but the timing raises an eyebrow.
