This reminds me of pannenkoek2012's work on Super Mario 64: SM64 - Watch for Rolling Rocks 0.5x A Presses.

In particular, it makes me think about his "parallel universes" and QPUs.

Definitely. Bismuth's video is somewhat better at explaining the concept but it seems cruel not to mention Pannenkoek since his iconic video is what popularized the whole concept.

This post is about SM64 "parallel universes"!

There's a clip from his video in the post :)

No that's a different video.

I've been streaming development of a game I am making in C++ and Raylib for both desktop and browser! See me in action on my Youtube channel. I won't share email here, but I will if you reach out to me on LinkedIn or X/Twitter.

I have professional experience as an iOS Developer, Security Consultant/Penetration Tester, and as an online Computer Science tutor. I realize my intersection of skills may not appear united or even fresh, but I pride myself on my ability to learn new tech stacks and integrate into anyone's workflow.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you in advance!

winrar has been around since I was in high school...21+ years 500 million downloads isn't unreasonable during that time frame real question is: how many windows boxes are up right now and how many have winrar installed

I use this on-and-off again. It is nice that I can flip between this and Copilot by commenting out one line in my init.lua

Amazing project, and sorry to hear about your daughter. I wore a back brace from age 4 until ~10, when my scoliosis curvature took a turn for the worse. They did surgery on me back then (27-28 years ago now) and put a stainless steel (or titanium im not sure) rod on my spine and fused it. I've been stuck at 5'1" since age 11, and have had to deal with some teasing about my height, but otherwise I've been able to have a good career in software and tech.

If you want to reach out and ask me any questions about life with scoliosis (or anything else for that matter), feel free to reach out to me:

Your project is pretty cool...I can see myself integrating IRC support so I can bridge communications between telegram and IRC. I already do a lot of bot-like stuff using Sopel (Python) and notify (golang), but love working in C/C++.

Appreciate the words of support! Thanks. Very happy you managed regardless of scoliosis.

Because Othello is in PSPACE, and NP is in PSPACE, does this mean that P=NP?

The preprint claims to have solved the standard 8x8 board. The result probably applied to smaller boards and perhaps wit some tweaks to slighty bigger boards (10x10???).

To conclude something about P ?= NP, they would have to have solved the NxN board for all N.

the uniball signo rt 0.38mm tip has been my goto pen since 2002 at least, to a degree that i do not purchase other pens.

I just don't understand why more gamedevs don't work in pure code like libsdl and C++, it is very liberating.

because the code is only one, comparatively small, element of making a modern game.

big fan of what you do, thanks again!
