Really cool. I remember one local musician here in Lithuania used a theremin like 20 years ago and i was amazed at the interactivity and the alien sound of it. Now sitting in front of my computer doing the same that many years later brings memories back!
That's because - given the flashy page and branding and all - it's irrelevant.
The thing is not about code or solving a problem, and we also shouldn't be pretending that it is, because that is what slop, grifters and businesspeople bank on.
Also, you can be sure that the features that do exist are half-baked at best, given that any person with eyes can see that the priorities lie elsewhere.
I just built my own version to scratch my own itch.
Completely vibe coded. It solves my problem. I didn't even consider that someone else might have already built it.
It's fast, simple, needs barely any resources. It has a daemon, it can detect new mice. It even has a vibe coded logo. Oh, did I already mention that the whole thing is completely vibe coded?

Facebook is still big in my country, Lithuania, and both rage-bait and other type of fringe content is rampant, and even worse after fact-checking was removed. It is wild, and with some outside actors (specific country that shall not be named) it is a big problem with political and social effects being felt IRL.
And is Lithuania doing anything about it? In Romania Facebook and TikTok do whatever they please, and whatever they are paid to do, with complete impunity as the authorities actively do nothing at all.
Our police has a page called "Virtual Police Patrol" which allows reporting of these cases. Some of the worst trolls have been prosecuted and sentenced. But we're not doing much regarding Facebook itself, just cleaning up with the results of it.
Bought my CTO M5 Pro just a month ago, i was a little bit skittish, thinking i should wait for the OLED one, but i think i'll be happier with the 64GB of RAM rather than that overpriced monitor.
My father uses ChatGPT extensively. My friend, whos an electrician, but has 0 things to do with computers, even called it Chat once and I said who? Because for me its ChatGPT. He also uses it extensively. Although I would bet they won't be willing to pay, advertisements will eventually hit them. And with inference prices going down, with distilled models being used, OpenAI will profit, and people will still hapily use it for whatever random queries they have. Exposure is the currency and OpenAI will have infinites of it for the foreseeable future.
