Hello - I am sorry that you've had those unpleasant experiences. I, too, have experienced similar feelings. Through legalization (in my state) and experimentation, I determined the root cause (certain types of weed and percentage of THC) of my paranoia/bad feelings. Now, I know what will make me feel good and how to avoid the negative outcomes of weed consumption.

FWIW, high CBD, low THC if I am smoking flower and for edibles I know my limit is a measly 5mg, and I usually start at 2.5mg.

I think there is a slight nuance to what they wrote. They said, "you really should never ever use a company like Facebook as a vital component of your business." It sounds like FB and Amazon, while immensely valuable for you, are not 'vital'.

A typical ecommerce business that advertises on Facebook might bring in 30% or more of their new customers through that channel. That's "vital".

EVERY direct-to-consumer ecommerce company buys Facebook and Google ads. Every single one.

If you lose the access, does your company die? If not, is not "vital".

Yes. These companies will die without Google and Facebook ads. Not immediately mind you, but after 6-12 months of near-zero new customer acquisition they will be out of business.

Hello. Long time lurker, first-time poster (because this question resonates with me).

I accidentally stopped drinking after 30+ years. Three factors helped get me there.

1. I have been practicing mindfulness for 20+ years. Alcohol disrupted my practice.

2. To prioritize my health, I modified my diet (keto), and drinking no longer fit into my food-related health goals.

3. I started exercising, and drinking didn't support this habit.

Takeaways: if possible, add important things (i.e., habits) to your life. Sometimes these habits force alcohol out of your life. So, instead of "Stop drinking," start "something(s)" and let them force alcohol out.

Of course, this may not work for you, but I wanted to share what worked for me.
