I'm a software engineer with 5+ years at Balanz, building tools for a trading desk. I enjoy sitting down with users, asking questions, and learning enough about their work to help decide what we should build. Complex business domains interest me, especially when I can learn from people who know them well.
I coordinate four developers across trading, commission settlement, and P&L projects. One tool lets commercial advisers trade at published prices without waiting for manual approvals. Another replaced a manual commission process for one area. My earlier work focused on market data systems using Kafka and Hazelcast.
I'm looking for an engineering role where working with customers is a regular part of the job. I'd like to understand their problems, help shape the product, and follow through until it works well for them. I'm open to domains beyond finance.
My question may be to obvious but, how can you incorporate js to mutate your layout based on user interaction and api calls? Do you have a dynamic website example?

Willing to relocate: To be discussed
