Thanks. Not present on my iOS app version, but perhaps it was added in the last few months. I've delayed app updates because of the risk of auto-playing video ads.
Either it was Lester's house computer or one of the Lifeinvader computers, but it was using a text editor that looked strikingly similar to Sublime Text. I had to do a double take.
The whiteboards in one of the Lifeinvader rooms, gave me a chuckle. It read, "Remember! We aren't ripping them off if they don't read the T&C" with word privacy crossed out.
Wow! This reminds me of a comment I saw on HN, or maybe it was a blog post about either Google's Project Loon, or Google Glass. I can't seem to find a link or the actual author, but they essentially said:
"What I care about is that Google has become a machine that turns advertising dollars into fundamentally groundbreaking new projects like Google Glass, Project Loon, and self-driving cars. They’re not just trying to make money: they’re trying to use that money on far-fetched moon-shot projects with the chance to be genuinely revolutionary. I admire that."
Now they are investing in a new realm where they are "excited about tackling aging and illness." Google's ambition, and vision is inspiring! Hopefully we see some innovation in this sector from this investment.
Interesting read. I agreed with most of the build-up to the climax. Yahoo! does frequent my mind now! Yahoo! is doing some interesting things!
Although, after reading I did visit Yahoo.com on my iOS device's and I was greeted with a much more pleasant mobile experience than the OP. For example, swiping gestures flicked through headline articles, stationary search bar, and a hamburger menu icon that hid navigation to other areas of Yahoo!.
Definitely not a crazy thought to me. I'm in your shoes also. I'd love to work my way in to be mentored.
The only person I've had a small amount of mentorship from is Allen Wong, the creator of "5-0 radio app." I email him back and fourth occasionally. Just a normal guy. He helps me with my app development. I feel so fortunate to chat and get help from someone who is already successful.
UI is simple and elegant. They don't charge for a private whois database or try and up-sell on you with emails every other day. Transferring domains over is simple. Check them out! @hover on twitter.
