The key to success is to not give a shit about others and only care for yourself. Walking away as the bad guy but gaining profit from it is much better than being the good guy.

Sounds great! looking forward to use it :)

great to hear!

WOW!

Author here: Thanks a million!

The code is easier to read on GitHub (https://github.com/cmlaidlaw/waaah) rather than view-source, if you're curious.

It is kind of a Google Reader alternative but in a much creative way than all those Google Reader clones such as Feedly or AOL Reader

That's not interesting to any tech blog. Because 1. the googleReaderIsDead story is dead now, and 2. "A new kind of a Google Reader Alternative" is not a story anyone would want to read.

If you want to be in the news, you need something newsy. Some kind of hook. If you can't find that, you're not newsy, nobody will be interested in your project and they won't write about you.

Is there anything at all about the app that stands out? That would peek someone's interest? Once you identify that, you can try contacting them again. You need a pitch.

In other words: HOW is it new and interesting? WHAT makes it so great?

Yes :D

Did you do a show HN?

yes I did but it didn't make it to the first page!

Thanks for sharing, Do you know any good and small tech websites that I can use for this purpose?

you might try googling: "[your niche] blog" "[your niche forum" "[your niche] comparision" etc. look for keyword tools around your niche. search twitter for keywords aroudn yuor niche.

Or use technorati's search engine, and work through the top 100 backwards. That's the suggestion I recently read.

Sorry, the system is still in beta and the current sign-up page is temporary :)

I'm working on a Google Reader alternative which in my opinion is a lot more useful! It gathers the news from across the web based on the user's interests and summarizes them like summly. Also it comes with a system to save the posts to read them later and let's users to add their own feeds and lets the users to turn the posts summarizing on or off for specific feeds.

This looks really cool and I actually need something like this. I would target busy people who don't have time to read full articles, and I would use a mobile platform to distribute this (iPhone/Android apps). Try also students that needs to summarise long text for school, this should help them. And blog writters should put a preview/summary of the article on top of it so send it to them as well, with an example of their article summarised in your emails.

Wordpress is really straightforward and easy to use but it depends on the project that you are taking. If you had any problem with WordPress development you could always use Stackoverflow or feel free to email me at kpourdeilami [at] gmail [dot] com :)
