What ist your plan if you die? Do you have a spouse that will be able to read your-and-your-spouses data?

I am on the older side and do not plan to be in another long term relationship. not a helpful answer maybe

Yes, my spouse has access to my password storage, which has all the decryption keys. Whether she remembers how to do it is a different question. :). Maybe I should write it down, or show one of my kids...

you should probably include the instructions in your estate document kit

Jruby is nice - runs Ruby on a Java Virtual Machine with full concurrency and Ahead Of Time compilation

It provides me relief that I am not the only one suffering from Clownfair bot protection running amok. Condolences to you.

I moved my code off Cloudflare just because I got frustrated on other people's websites. Being the change I want to see, I guess?

I want to second this: Unregular use is compelling use case for a laser printer.

Are you independent of your government yet?

I am dependend on government not giving subsidies to my competition. I am dependend on them not to raise taxes. I even depend on them for keeping the infrastrukture alive. If I cant trust the state I life in, it is time to move to a different state.

Windows does have three libc, likely as a compability layer. their names are:

  * <forgotten something Windows 3.1>
  * msvcrt.dll, 2014
  * ucrt.dll (universal c runtime, since Windows 10)

Those are not a compatibility layer with the OS. Heck, the all barely even provide proper access to the file system, ffs! The "msvcrt.dll" in the System32 folder is an ancient leftover from Microsoft-internal version of MSVC 6.0 or so, not intended for 3rd-party consumption.

At some point Microsoft got tired of maintaining binary-incompatible versions of its C runtime for different Visual Studios, so they started shipping UCRT with Windows itself... but you still don't need to touch that garbage for anything whatsoever.

bug reports should be reproducable. They may even be statistically reproduceable. A bug report that cannot be reproduced is worthless.

It is not worthless; that means you need to work on making it easier to detect and report bugs.

"count" is an incomplete type, the same as "array" is an incomplete type. "count of fruit" would be a complete type, compare to "Array of int64".

SI leaves this underspecified, which causes confusion with dimensionless units.

Javascript has arrays of unspecified types, and count of items of such arrays. I don’t think your analogy holds

Perhaps the SI system needs generics :)

could you please link the beginner handkerchiefs?

The ones I have are pretty old, and I got them from a local store that doesn’t exist anymore. They’re kind of slightly weighted, for lack of a better term almost like a foxtail toy.

You could probably just use standard juggling scarves and get much of the same effect. Renegade Juggling is probably one of the better places to buy juggling equipment.

I learned using plastic bags. Probably not as uniform in their motion as handkerchiefs, but worked to get the pattern down before moving to balls.

> LLMs with harnesses are clearly capable of engaging with logical problems that only need text.

All of the LLMs are bad at music. They get intervals wrong. They list unsuited songs.

I would not trust them with any domain until proven otherwise.
