Did he turned out to be good for the job/faked it ´til he made it or did it all come crushing down?

Receiving bribes, soliciting bribes or declining bribes?

Not sure I understand. You disagree with the way the company/organization is being run so much, so you stopped using their free product? Do you still like the actual browser?

>so you stopped using their free product?

If it wasn't clear, a user is directly supporting Mozilla by using their product.

But do you like the product?

If coca-cola did some re-organization I didn´t like or spent money like a mad person on ridiculous products, I´d still buy coke until the company went broke.

It´s 2008. A manager that just doesn´t care anymore tells the new IT person to replenish the fan mayo.

-"Why? I don´t know why. It just works."

-"Is Hellmann's ok?"

IT person documents that Hellmann's is preferred.

And then later on Hellmann's is discontinued, so the company solicits quotes for a mayo supplier.

Surely it would be an RFP that insists on SLA guarantees, generating profound confusion at Hellman’s and Kraft.

And the can punt it down to the next generation. Problem solved.

I´ll get my duffel bag. Hope I don´t bump into anyone already in their seat.

That's like when the whole class fails a test, but the prof. grades on a curve. Someone gets an A, but not really. edit: some grammar.

They are there because they have insight into a phenomenon they have studied and is being discussed, and they may have a book or something that further explains what they are talking about should the listener be interested. Should they not mention or promote their work?

Almost always the main guest is there to primarily plug something. They almost are never there just to discuss some findings.

"Hey reporter, check this out. Order pizza online."

"Yes, but why isn't it doing what I think it should be doing!?"

Cucumbers on a pizza. What madness.
