I think it's the opposite. IIRC, if Scotland votes to leave but the rest of the UK doesn't, the Scottish independence movement leaders have said that that will renew their push for another independence referendum.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scottish voters viewed 'Leave' vs. 'Remain' as a proxy vote for leaving the UK, rather than the EU, and were voting with that in mind (even if they would want to be part of the EU as an independent Scotland).
