I think this is a dire inditement for neoliberalism; nearly everyone expected this to go the other way: the markets, the media, the polls... When the stats are analyzed, I assume the people who suffer from globalization will be the ones who made up a bulk of the leave vote. The question is why wouldn't they vote the way they did? Free trade is a lose lose for them, damned if they do, damned if they don't.
