I find it remarkable that a company the size and profitability of Apple seems unable to do more than one thing at a time. Simply not enough engineers?

Apple does have a very different organization structure than most companies in their league, one that doesn't necessarily scale to a large number of people: http://www.vox.com/new-money/2016/11/27/13706776/apple-funct...

I work for a $40B company, albeit smaller than Apple.. it even seems like we can't do more than one thing.

At least you can manage more than zero things...

A lot of it is that they think they need to create unique art projects for things that have absolutely no need for that.

Bike-shedding to the max.

They seriously don't need to make the Mac Pro an art product.

But, I believe that there is no better personal computer experience out there right now than the Mac Book Pro.

Sometimes size can work against you.

I was wondering the same thing about Windows back in 2004, when I switched to mac.
