Low level machine setup (e.g. user accounts, log shipping, backups, sshd etc.); configuring systems and services that don't make sense in containers; and now, with ansible-container, container management.

Also, not every org has (or would want) to go 100% 'all in' on containers. Any hybrid infrastructure will always need configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Salt.
