This is wrong. There are ads in Spotify premium, in the UI. There was a gigantic obnoxious one a few weeks ago for an artist starting with D and ending with E.

See my wording and parent's wording. We were very clearly discussing audio ads that interrupt music.

Of course there are ads in Spotify. Music itself is full of advertisements, too. That's a different problem, though.

Spotify had that giant Drake "promotion" a few weeks ago, which a rational person would think is an ad.

I use Spotify on multiple devices every day and didn't notice anything about Drake recently, so it must not have been that effective a promotion.

It was obnoxious and took over the whole discovery section.
