I'm 38 and a relatively new dev with ~3 years of experience in a wide variety of tech. Live here in SF and have been doing the whole job hunt thing.

This article stresses me out and makes me feel like if I don't get my next good job in a year or so I am basically locked out of a career...

I hope this is not true!

Honestly, while I don’t see much discrimination for older devs in general. If your experience doesn’t match what you “should” have for your age, it might be different.
