One could argue that the Stockholm public transportation system is MUCH better than the one in Paris though.

What makes you say that? In Paris, all subway stations are always at walking distance, even for the elderly. And you never have to wait for a metro (unless strike). In Stockholm, all is punctual, but with much lower frequency.

I prefer the punctuality, having more personal-space and overall state of cleanness of the Stockholm train/metro
