Building an NLP Engine Is Hard, but Not as Hard as Defining Terms (qvault.io)

Dread is anticipation. I’m surprised that there would be commingling of sentiment and future-preparation in NLP professionals. The dictionary definition is sort of tautological- a functional model of the cognitive state, for terms that describe cognitive states, is probably a better approach.

If Plutchik categorizes anger and fear as opposites, I have a feeling part of the problem is the choice of guidance on how to categorize. He must have been the bully and not the bullied in childhood.

However, it also points to the difficulty of creating a human-like understanding of anything: for many phenomena, two people will understand it differently.
