well, that was a letdown. started strong, explaining the problem and how we can't trust users to do the right thing. but then ended up telling me that users should do the right thing...

That's actually great feedback - I realize I left some key points out in that regard. Just updated it to try to be more clear, and communicate that I agree the responsibility rests almost entirely on the platform itself.
