This article is pretty old (2015). As I was reading through it, I got a pretty big surprise that Twitter was still using Storm until I checked the date.


what do they use now instead of storm?



Wow, ok, I missed this article, but they replaced their homegrown infrastructure (Heron, Scalding, Manhattan) with GCP?!

I wonder how it's 5 Billion? With the population of the Earth being 6.5 ... Billions of sessions seems like it has to be a bug.


Companies, bots, alts, fake accounts, etc all inflate this number
