If that is your problem then you are not the target market in the first place. There are a lot of people who are unhappy with the type of devices we can buy. Pine64 is a refreshing improvement to us, but they are not to everyone.
I’m definitely their target market. However if Plasma mobile is their advertised software of choice and is unsupported by them directly I’d rather buy a Linux phone like a Librem 5 before a drop more money on another Pine64 phone. The Librem is actually getting focus and software improvements. The Pinephone is at the whim of time and energy of some good citizens when it comes to software. One of these citizens is the Librem efforts.
They can tote all day long about how focused their hardware efforts are and how that improves their release process. Adding in a developer dedicated to the software side wouldn’t change that balance. They’re not even in the same ballpark anyways.
Different models, I'm glad Pine has this one as it is useful. That doesn't mean others are wrong models, but you can't be both.
