This was a while ago (years), but for a time, in gmail, if you tried to add a contact the form had an "add contact" button at the bottom that submitted your form and added the contact, and another identical button to the top right that... reset the form without submitting it, because it meant "start a form to add a new contact". I watched my grandma struggle with it, which was fun. But hey, at least they can solve leetcode hard.

More recently, I can confirm that material UI, especially when Google does it, confuses the absolute shit out of my parents.
