I feel bad asking here, but I have a family friend dying of cancer. His wife is obsessed with restoring their facebook [1] account - it was recently hacked for the donations balances (we think). They have followed all the advice on the help sections. Does FB have any way to contact a customer support rep? I feel even worse reaching out to my contacts in FB, but, trying that as well.
[1] probably a way to just deal with the coming death, just avoidance.
Lost access to my college email and also the phone number I had registered to the account. Stuck on 2FA requirement now.
They have some form where you email in your ID but looks like that was a black hole.
Haven't logged into Facebook in 3 years now, lol.
