What's the difference between USB 3.0, 3.1 Gen 1 and 3.2 Gen 1x1? Just the name (technewstoday.com)

This is a better status[0] posted Sept.30, 2022 (vs this article Sept.11).

It has a simple chart of logos for speed and power.

Even the summary at the bottom was a confusing mess, and I know exactly what they're talking about. USB-IF really bungled the naming convention. They could have added updated and amended versions of the 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 specs as specific conventions - Something like "USB 3.0 Power-Only (3.2 interoperable)", while keeping the important part of their names (USB 3.0) and adding clear descriptors (Power-Only) and specifying that they were, in fact, still part of the modern 3.2 standard. Instead, we got a muddled mess.
