OP here! MetalliCSS is my attempt at achieving a certain quality metallic effect for the web that I wasn’t seeing anyone else doing, without resorting to static images. MetalliCSS produces SVG backgrounds that are tailored around the targeted element’s values for some standard CSS properties (width, height, border-radius, background-color), as well as some custom ones (convexity, metal, seed).
