What about security? Does the rendering engine still leakes like a sieve? Who on earth needs this pdf bullshit in the browser? Average people are obsessed with editing PDFs or what the hell is going on?
Regarding security, I would expect the Acrobat viewer to be in a different process, just like every browser tab is in a separate process. I would also expect it to run in Protected Mode and Protected View [0].
