Politically you just need to call it a "quiet room." Dimmer lights, no keyboards. It's a much easier sell than a nap room and you can still nap in it.


In Sweden it’s mandatory[1] that each workplace should have a ”resting room”. Surely, not every workplace has it though.

PS. It's unlucky for the translation that toilets are called rest rooms in English speaking countries. :) In Sweden bathroom or rest room is called toalett (toilet).


I was under the impression those are for when someone is ill, but I can't substantiate that.
