Pixel built-in Google VPN is discriminating users by residency

I discovered that there is no parity in access to the Google One VPN vs the new built-in Pixel Google VPN. Owning a Pixel 7 Pro is not sufficient to use the built-in Google VPN if you are living in Cyprus (Pixel June Update). While I can still use the old app-based Google One VPN (which will stop operating in 1 week), the built-in VPN on the Pixel 7 Pro is unavailable simply because Cyprus is not a supported country for residency. It is only permitted for travelers visiting Cyprus.

For instance, a German resident traveling to Cyprus can use the integrated Pixel Google VPN on their Pixel 7. However, a Cyprus resident living in Cyprus with a Pixel 7 cannot use the built-in Google VPN. To me, this feels like discrimination based on your residency.

Yeah! That stupid roll out in waves thing companies seems like to love needs to stop, especially in a worldwide network it seems utterly stupid. They risk to disgruntle users and customers.

I was long time avoiding to buy any Samsung product because they decided to not release the only good Mixed Reality Headset at the time of the release over here (Their Odyssey VR Headset which was released only in a few markets and was, until HP released their Reverb one, the best Mixed Reality one).
