There are books so interesting that I just want to keep reading in the curiosity of what'll happen next. People read for hours in one sitting.

I read Kane and Abel for like 5 hours straight and finished the book in 3 days, nice book if you are looking for a new book.

I wonder which book caused you this and how fast and long were you reading it? Don't forget to mention some crazy stories if you have...

That feeling just hits different.

I loved Sherlock Holmes. So gripping and evocative. Couldn't wait to get back to reading after lunch. Felt like skipping food just to keep reading. I liked this boxed set. So cheap and lightweight. Cover is great too. The intro in this edition "On the Significance of Boswells" by Loren D. Estleman is so memorable. I miss those times.

I read Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” in one sitting (except for bathroom and food/beverage breaks). This was in law school when I needed an escape from studying on a Friday afternoon/evening/night. I don’t remember how long it took, but reading a book from start to finish in one session was a great experience — especially with that novel. I felt like I was there on the characters’ apocalyptic journey.

I've never completed a book in one sitting! Now I am envious of that feeling and would love to read a book from start to finish soon. I've two books from the millennial series remaining to be read, maybe I can start with those.

Canticle for Liebowitz. I was at a beach rental on vacation and it was on the shelf. Started about 7 pm and didn’t stop until I was finished, about 4 am.

Did you know about the novel or the author before you saw the book?

The first time I read "Your Money or Your Life" a long time ago, I stayed up most of the night reading it, because I felt like it was going to change my life and was really fascinating. If a book feels like it's the answer to all my problems then I end up reading it nonstop.

Interesting! I often read self-help books slowly to understand them better or let those thoughts sink in. I agree that the books are great but I didn't find myself reading them non-stop as I do with some story type or Sci-fi novel.

40 years ago I drove to Port Grimaud, just round the coast from Saint Tropez in the South of France, for a holiday with my mates.

I read Lord of the rings in 3 x 12 hour sittings over three days while I was sun bathing.

12 hours! incredible man

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Midnight release, read until the sun came up...and kept going? Not sure exactly how many hours, maybe 9 or 10?

Harry Potter Universe, no doubt you kept reading.

"Escape the Matrix: Unleash your Dreams" by Andrew Tate. Read it in one go. 15 hours

Andrew Tate, he's a controversial guy. Does the novel reflect the same things he talks about?

Dune and Dune Messiah in 22 hours.

that's the novel movies are based on right?

Yes.
