I'm nearly hit daily walking around the my NY suburb. Barely conscious drivers in over protective vehicles with no sight lines and poor road design.

Often the pavement ends or is covered in snow and I need to be in the road.

I'd sooner every one have guns here then the current everyone has an suv/truck. At least the guns are dangerous to the user.
