I think this is a separate argument as productivity is getting squeezed out by competition and the consumer is benefiting.
I'm not sure if capital owners, management or workers are getting equal slices of the benefits, but I do believe that everyone is benefiting and it doesn't make sense to avoid progress as though increased productivity isn't worthwhile.
