And in many districts you can't get elected without the endorsement of your local megachurch, but given how rarely that is complained about, Americans have a unique hatred of worker unions getting involved in politics. (Businesses, billionaires, religious groups are perfectly fine.)
It bewilders me that people vote whatever a Union says.
