I've seen to-do list apps that gameify your tasks and make it like an RPG. Does anyone actually use this stuff or benefit from it? It seems infantilizing

id use it, for people that find it hard to be "adults" its a fun hack to get projects rolling along.

‘Infantilizing’ is a bad take. Nobody likes doing chores, even if we understand the necessity of them. Anything you can do to make it more fun is a win.
