I think there is a huge shift in hackernews as of late (as other mainstream media as well) where such discussions happen, not necessary encouraged.

I'm shocked to see the difference between 2023 and today.



Mods will almost always turn off flagging for stories if you email them. I think it's too easy to flag something to death and not enough people know they can just email the mods


Gog and Magog won't create themselves out of thin air.

A discourse must be cultivated and steered till the point when they are ready to form.


Ah yes, Yahweh the loving and compassionate god is just cultivating a discourse like the good old days in Psalm 137:9.
