What made you want to move over? Are you just desperate for a venue to talk, desperate enough that if your venue of choice changes its API you'll go to another place with other norms?
I disliked the official app and decided I’m done with social media. Somehow still ended up back to it in form of HN. I’ve since checked some of the subreddits I spent time in and they’ve swung a lot towards the right with the quality of discourse dropping so much that I don’t think I would even want to go back. I’m too old to spend my days arguing with people on the internet in some echo chamber.
