I'm an infrastructure engineer and Python developer with a PhD in physics. I'm looking for a small team where I can take responsibility for Linux infrastructure and write the software around it.

I've worked on infrastructure for Verus, an open-source blockchain project, since 2019. I currently maintain a hybrid Linux fleet spanning VPS, bare metal, and VMs. I've built Ansible automation for provisioning and maintenance, written custom Zabbix checks, and developed Python APIs and supporting services.

At a cloud startup, I built automated bare-metal onboarding with PXE, DHCP, and inventory integration, plus Python tooling to manage Kubernetes-hosted VMs. I've also written Python sensor-integration and multithreaded client/server control software for a commercial drone platform.

I run a small hosting business, handling DNS, web and email services, automation, and customer support for a small number of local clients.

My research background is in computational biophysics, including molecular dynamics, ML, and data processing with Python and Bash on Slurm clusters. I'd also welcome research infrastructure or scientific computing roles where that experience would be useful. While I've not maintained a full production cluster env, I have managed slurm and distributed file systems in a homelab context.
