Imho, Windows Phone actually has the best approach to menus. Useful icons are listed along the bottom without text labels. If you want more info you hit the "..." button and that introduces the text labels and additional menu items. A best-of-both-worlds approach that means there's one place to click when you don't know what to do, and it's already tied into vague unlabeled icons giving you the options.


Do you have a screenshot you could share that shows this in action? I'm interested to see exactly how this works.



As one not familiar with Windows phone, this nav bar seems pretty appealing to me. Thanks for sharing.
