Is this FB deleting user content on its own, or responding to reports by other users who have been somehow "offended"? We had something similar happen in my country recently, repeatedly:
A Facebook page dedicated to cataloging photos and images from the country's history posted a 100-200 year old black and white image of a bare-breasted woman (something not unseen in Ceylon before Europeans missionaries brought Victorian values to the island). This was deleted. A discussion followed, where the majority consensus was that the photos should stay up. But every subsequent attempt to repost resulted in the image being taken down. The administrators of the page eventually gave up.
