Are you in the Bay/Valley area? We have servers hosted there that cannot reach services in Google. We can reach those services fine from Vancouver however.

The traffic out of San Jose to Google is all being routed to China first and we are dropping a lot of packets when trying to get to Google from there.

I'm having the same issue from Los Angeles to us-central.

I have friends in LA and New York all reporting access to Google going through China first and lots of packet loss.

Can confirm, I am on the East Coast in Florida and seeing the same thing.

Is GCP under-reporting their downtimes on https://status.cloud.google.com/ ? I thought the Kube issue went on for 2-3 days, as well...

In San Diego, and Spotify seems down for me (and for others, according to Twitter). Some other smaller sites too.

Los Angeles here, Google.com and Spotify have been intermittent/down all morning.

Facebook apparently was down earlier as well.

Not just GCP - looks to be a big BGP hijack of large sets of prefixes. All pointing to ChinaTelecom .... fishy
